The United Kingdom has launched one of Europe’s largest green hydrogen projects in Scotland, aimed at accelerating its transition to clean energy. The facility will produce hydrogen using renewable wind power, helping reduce reliance on fossil fuels.
Officials said the project could supply hydrogen for transport, heating, and heavy industries, cutting carbon emissions significantly. The move aligns with the UK’s target of achieving net-zero emissions by 2050.
Energy experts say this development could also create thousands of jobs and position the UK as a leader in renewable technologies. Indian and South Asian companies involved in green energy are also eyeing collaboration opportunities.
