BPCL Assures Uninterrupted Availability of Petrol, Diesel & Domestic LPG Across West Bengal

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), a Fortune Global 500 company and one of India’s leading oil and gas firms, has assured uninterrupted availability of petrol, diesel, CNG, and domestic LPG across West Bengal, amid concerns over supply stability.

In an official statement, the company said all its fuel stations and LPG distributorships in the state are operating smoothly and are fully equipped to meet the energy needs of consumers. BPCL emphasised that its supply chain remains robust and efficient, ensuring seamless distribution across its network.

“There is no cause for concern or panic buying,” the company stated, urging customers to remain calm while reaffirming its commitment to energy accessibility and reliability.

BPCL, the second-largest Indian oil marketing company, has a vast nationwide presence spanning both upstream and downstream operations. Its refineries in Mumbai, Kochi and Bina together have a capacity of around 35.3 MMTPA, supported by a strong marketing infrastructure including over 23,500 fuel stations and more than 6,200 LPG distributorships.

The Maharatna PSU is also advancing its sustainability goals, with EV charging facilities at over 6,500 fuel stations and a roadmap to achieve net-zero emissions by 2040, aligning growth with environmental responsibility.
