Many districts of Bengal are getting drenched in torrential rain at times.However, there is no continuous rain anywhere. The Meteorological Department has predicted light to moderate rain in several districts of the state on Wednesday, particularly. But there is no chance of heavy rain anywhere.
 
According to Alipur Meteorological Source, a low-pressure area has formed in the Bay of Bengal. So for that, the sea has been rough for the last two days. Gusty winds of 40 to 50 km are blowing over the north-west and west-central Bay of Bengal. Due to low pressure, heavy rain has occurred at a few places on Tuesday. However, there is no chance of heavy rain from Wednesday.
 
The meteorological department has prohibited fishermen from fishing due to rough seas. A ban has been issued to go to the sea till July 26. Kolkata will generally have cloudy skies on Wednesday. Kolkata will get wet with scattered light to moderate rain.
 
The minimum temperature in the city on Wednesday is likely to be around 27 degrees Celsius, and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 31 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature on Tuesday was 31.3 degrees Celsius, which was 0.7 degrees below normal. And the minimum temperature was 27.4 degrees Celsius, which is 0.9 degrees above normal.
