Assam BJP leader involved in anti-party activities due to which the leader got suspended by the Assam BJP President Bhabesh Kalita on Tuesday.
According to the sources, the suspended BJP leader has been identified as Somendra Nath Deka, the former Deputy Mayor of Guwahati Municipal Corporation (GMC), he staged a dharna in Guwahati’s Mathgharia.
Also, Somendra Deka has been ‘suspended with immediate effect on the basis of the allegations violating party discipline by deliberately showing dharna in public places against fervent leadership of the BJP’.
