At the Kanchenjunga Stadium the Sidho-Bhanu Gold Cup organized by the West Bengal State Council for School Games and Sports commenced

On Tuesday, the Sidho-Bhanu Gold Cup organized by the West Bengal State Council for School Games and Sports commenced at the Kanchenjunga Stadium in Siliguri making people very excited. Actually the tournament was inaugurated by lighting a lamp and hoisting the national flag. As per reports, for the first year, teams from a total of 46 blocks and seven districts would participate in the tournament. In fact in the initial phase of the tournament, 3 matches each will be played during the day and night. Actually the remaining matches of the tournament will be held on the ground of Tarai Tarapada Adarsh Vidyalaya. In reality on the first day of the tournament, teams from the Siliguri and Kurseong divisions participated.

In this regard, Mayor Goutam Deb stated that the Sidho-Bhanu Gold Cup has been organized to spread the message of unity among the new generation of students through sports. Actually this is very good tournament as it will help people in many ways from the beautiful sport football.
