At the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025 in New Delhi, Assam’s Swachh Pavilion won the bronze medal for its excellent cleanliness and visitor-friendly design. The fair, which began on November 14, drew a sizable crowd and showcased Assam’s traditional crafts, agricultural goods, and cultural legacy. The pavilion, which featured 41 MSME stalls and showcased Assam’s varied craftsmanship and industrial growth, brought in over Rs 1.80 crore. Handlooms, bamboo crafts, and Assam tea were among the signature items that attracted the most attention from visitors. Additionally, the pavilion featured cultural displays of Assam’s UNESCO World Heritage Sites and highlighted agro-based industries.
