In shaping the educational landscape of the state, Assam Governor Gulab Chand Kataria has presided the second consultative committee meeting at Raj Bhavan.
According to the sources, the meeting was held to discuss on topics like establishment of an NEP cell, the incorporation of IKS and VBSY in every higher education institution (HEI), preparatory steps for launching post-graduate education on the basis on NE in all the higher educational institutions and examinations under FYUGP in alignment with the NE guidelines.
Further, the Assam Government aims to build Vikshit Bharat by 2047 for state, Assam.
