Assam is grilling under flood due to continuous rainfall in the region. Atleast eight rivers are flowing above the danger mark including Brahmaputra river at the highest peak.
The bulletin board says, Assam flood has affected the region over 6.44 lakh people in 19 districts. Rescue teams are deployed in all the regions including the NDRF, SDRF, army, air force and local administration.
Meanwhile, the death toll affected by flood has increased this year to 45 while one person is missing. Further, the rescued ones are taken to the relief camp.
