Asia Healthcare Holdings has acquired a majority stake in India’s largest single specialty hospital network, the Asian Institute of Nephrology and Urology (AINU). AHH plans to invest 600cr in the company through primary and secondary infusions, focusing on Robotic Urology Surgery and Urology & Nephrology Care. AHH has expanded its healthcare delivery platform into Urology and Nephrology, becoming the largest and only single speciality healthcare delivery platform in India and the Asian sub-continent. Launched in 2017, AHH has scaled enterprises in Oncology, Women & Children’s, and IVF & Fertility, all achieving leadership positions within their respective domains.
AINU was founded in 2013 by a team of leading Urologists&Nephrologists led by Dr C Mallikarjuna and Dr P C Reddy, since then it has become a pioneering hospital network in the Urology & Nephrology clinical specialty in the country.The company operates seven hospitals in Hyderabad, Visakhapatnam, Siliguri, and Chennai, with over 500 beds and 400,000 patients treated.
It leads in robotic urology surgery, having completed 1,000 surgeries using robotic technology. In nephrology, it has performed over 200,000 dialysis and 300 kidney transplants.
