Due to a sell-off in financials, IT, and capital goods sectors amid a global stocks crash on lingering concerns about the banking crisis, the benchmark Sensex dropped by 360 points and the Nifty finished below the 17,000-level on Monday.The 30-share BSE Sensex fell 360.95 points, or 0.62 percent, to conclude at 57,628.95 as 23 of its stocks posted negative final closing prices. The index dropped more than 900 points, reaching a low of 57,084.91, before recouping part of its losses at the tail end.
