On Monday night, a drunken youth cuts off his friend’s head after an argument. The incident took place on Jorhat, Assam dibrugarh district.
The accused is identified as Lohit Gogoi and the victim is identified as Ratul Saura Alias Fai. According to the reports, both were drinking together at the former’s house. Soon there was as argument between the youths which caused the incident. Lohit chopped off his friend’s head due to the argument.
Meanwhile, Lohit mother and sister saw Lohit with the chopped head and informed the police about the incident. Lohit was also a drug addict, a report says.
Lohit was arrested on Wednesday.
