Amway India has launched a comprehensive awareness campaign to protect consumers and distributors from the risks posed by unauthorized sales of its products. The initiative, announced in September 2024, focuses on educating stakeholders about the dangers of purchasing Amway products through unofficial channels like third-party e-commerce platforms. The company has ramped up supply chain monitoring and implemented strict measures, including suspending or terminating distributors involved in unauthorized sales.
Amway India reiterated that its products are exclusively available through authorized distributors and the official Amway website, ensuring customers receive authentic, high-quality products. The company’s “Zero Tolerance Policy” towards unauthorized sales includes labeling products with “Sold only through Amway Direct Selling Partners” to emphasize authenticity and protect consumers from counterfeit goods.
The impact of unauthorized sales extends beyond product authenticity. In Siliguri, for example, consumers are increasingly concerned about counterfeit products, driving them to seek genuine Amway items through trusted channels. Amway’s rapid delivery network, covering 17,000+ pin codes, guarantees faster, safer access to authentic goods, especially in key metro areas where 87% of orders arrive within 24 hours.
