Since its debut flight on 07 August 2022 from Mumbai to Ahmedabad, Akasa Air has made a substantial impact in the aviation sector, serving over 11 million passengers and achieving top-tier performance metrics.
The airline has distinguished itself as India’s most punctual carrier, reflecting its commitment to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Akasa Air now connects 22 domestic and five international destinations, including key cities like Doha and Abu Dhabi, with over 900 weekly flights.
In a historic move, Akasa Air placed a groundbreaking order for 150 aircraft within just 17 months of its inception, the largest by any Indian airline in such a short span. This expansion underscores the airline’s robust financial health and growth strategy.Looking forward, Akasa Air is set on joining the ranks of the top 30 global airlines by the decade’s end.
