Talking about the earnings of Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Ponniyin Selvan-2’ at the domestic box office, initially, the film was doing business for around 18 to 19 crores on its working days, but now the film’s earnings have slowed down considerably. The film earned only 3 lakhs in Hindi on the 11th day.
Apart from this, the film has earned 2.24 crores in the Tamil language, 25 lakhs in Telugu, 25 lakhs in Malayalam, and only 1 lakh in Kannada.
This historical film based on the Chola Empire did a net total of 155 crores and a gross of 183.35 crores at the Indian box office. Apart from Aishwarya Rai, and Chiyaan Vikram, stars like Karthi, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Jayam Ravi, and Sobhita Dhulipala were seen in important roles in this film.
