Air India, today has launched a modern brand identity and aircraft livery, showcasing a bold new India, marking a milestone in its Vihaan.AI transformation of the national institution into a national inspiration. The new look reimagines the iconic Indian window shape into a gold window frame, symbolizing a ‘Window of Possibilities’. The logo symbol, ‘The Vista’, is inspired by the gold window frame’s peak, symbolizing possibilities and progressiveness. While the aircraft livery features deep red, aubergine, gold highlights, and a chakra-inspired pattern.
The new ‘Air India Sans’ font combines confidence with warmth, positioning Air India as premium, inclusive, and accessible. Air India’s iconic new brand identity, designed in partnership with FutureBrand, combines the airline’s past with innovation for the future. The new logo will be visible on passengers’ journeys starting December 2023, when Air India’s first Airbus A350 enters the fleet in the new livery.
Air India is investing throughout the guest experience to elevate its service and to strengthen its position, by acquiring 470 aircraft and undergoing a $400 million refurbishment program.
