NSDC & Bajaj Finserv and AICTE & Bajaj Finserv signed two MoUs in August, attended by Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Secretary, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Shri. Atul Kumar Tiwari, and other dignitaries.
AICTE and NSDC have partnered with Bajaj Finserv Ltd. to prepare young graduates for employment in the financial services sector. The partnership will build the capabilities of 20,000 candidates through the Certificate Program in Banking, Finance & Insurance (CPBFI), a 100-hour program aimed at enhancing skills and knowledge among graduates and MBA aspirants in tier 2 and 3 cities. AICTE, under the Ministry of Education, has designated Odisha as a priority state, launching youth skilling programs in ten districts. Students will receive joint certification from Bajaj Finserv and Skill India.
Speaking on the occasion Shri Dharmendra Pradhan expressed his happiness to witness the signing of MoUs of NSDC and AICTE with Bajaj Finserv to prepare young graduates for employment opportunities in the financial services sector and the launch of a Certificate Program in Banking, Finance, and Insurance. He said that we are building a super highway of knowledge and competencies and India can become the hub for global financial services market.
