An official stated on Friday that during searches in Tamil Nadu for a case involving an Indo-Sri Lankan illegal drug and arms trade ring aiming to revive the LTTE terror group, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) detained a guy and found a sizable cache of cash, gold, and drugs. Ayyappan Nandhu was detained during the raids carried out at the homes and workplaces of eight suspects in Chennai on Thursday, bringing the total number of people detained in the investigation to date to 14, according to an NIA spokesperson.
