Rajganj, Oct 17: A father organised a voluntary blood donation camp ahead of his daughter’s wedding. The camp was organised at Saheb Para near Ambari in Binnaguri gram panchayat of Rajganj block on Thursday.
Anarul Haque’s daughter Anfisa Haque is getting married in the coming days. Before the wedding, she requested her father to organise a blood donation camp to overcome the local blood crisis. Fulfilling her wish, Anarul Haque arranged the camp outside his house, planning to send the collected blood to the Siliguri Blood Bank. Apart from blood donation, plants were also distributed to the participants.
Several dignitaries, including Rajganj MLA Khageswar Roy, Padma Shri awardees Karimul Haque, Ahidur Rahman and Amit Sarkar were present at the event.
