Phansidewa, October 14: In a tragic incident in the Managach area of Phansidewa, a man has been arrested for murdering his nephew Seb Munda. The incident which took place on Sunday night has created a sensation in the area.
According to reports, the accused Saren Munda had a heated argument with his wife that evening. The deceased Seb Munda went to his maternal uncle’s house to resolve the dispute. However, he was allegedly attacked. Seb Munda was immediately rushed to the Phansidewa Rural Hospital, but he died.
After the incident, the police of Phansidewa police station was informed, after which Saren Munda was arrested. The body of the deceased has been sent to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for post-mortem.
Meanwhile, the accused has been produced in the Siliguri Sub-Divisional Court. Officials are currently investigating the entire case.
