Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be visiting Assam by Thursday. As per sources, Amit Shah will be here to distribute appointment letters to youth recruited in various government departments.
The programme for distribution of appointment letters will take place in Veterinary College Field in Guwahati’s Khanapara area where 44,703 will be receiving appointment letters. The successful candidates will be able to assume their positions between June 1st and June 15, 2023.
In addition, Shah will lay the foundation of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) in Kamrup district’s Changsari.
Also due to Union Minister’s visit to the state, the Kamrup (Metropolitan) district administration has declared the entire district, including Guwahati city, as a “No Drone Fly Zone” from May 24 to May 25, 2023.
