300 cases reported, Dengue surge in Assam

Dengue hits Assam again, 300 cases reported so far. There is a surge of dengue cases this early year with affected and deaths toll numbers.

The dengue cases were earlier reported between October and December; the source said this year dengue started taking a toll in several districts from June, even before the onset of monsoon.

Along with it, two Japanese Encephalitis (JE) deaths have also been reported. The two JE deaths have been reported from Dhemaji and Lakhimpur. So far 42 cases have been reported all together.
