19.98 kg of heroin are seized by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force and BSF in a significant narcotics seizure in Punjab

A significant crackdown on trans-border drug smuggling was conducted in Punjab by the Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF) and the Border Range. The operation resulted in the recovery of 19.980 kg of heroin and the arrest of four suspects, including the key operative overseeing the supply chain. Preliminary investigations by Punjab Police showed that the detained suspects were linked to handlers in Pakistan and organized the transportation and distribution of narcotics shipments throughout the state’s several regions.

Under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, a formal complaint has been filed, and additional research is being done to discover additional handlers, track down supply routes, and disrupt the entire network. “The Anti-Narcotics Task Force (#ANTF), Border Range, in collaboration with the Border Security Force (#BSF), recovered 19.980 kg of heroin and arrested four suspects, including the key operative overseeing the supply chain, in a significant crackdown on trans-border smuggling.”

According to preliminary investigations, the accused was involved in the distribution and delivery of drug shipments throughout the region and is connected to handlers in Pakistan. In order to identify cross-border handlers, track supply channels, and dismantle the entire network, a formal complaint has been filed under the NDPS Act.
